Using Materials in UI

Materials are great for 3D models and objects in a scene, but what about in UI? By changing the output node in the Material to "User Interface", it makes that Material useable in the UMG editor in the Brush settings (in Images, Borders, Buttons, etc.).


I started by following a tutorial that was meant for 3D models, but decided to try it in UI. This was a very fun thing to try, and also meant I could animate the parameters I had made in the UMG animations to make the material more interactive.

I can't figure how to change the material's parameters in the Blueprints however, and so can't use my lerping animation technique here.
